Andrew is a psychologist with research interests in cultural geography – place, space and urban landscapes. He has lectured in psychology since 1992.
He is the author of ‘Studying Psychology’ (Palgrave, 2007) and ‘Cultural Issues in Psychology’ (Routledge, 2009) and is a regular contributor to Psychology Review magazine. This year, he gave a lecture entitled ’16 Cities: participatory potentials for sensory ethnographies in exploring place making in newcomers to a city’, at the Universities of Lyon and Lisbon in France and Portugal. He is a graduate of Manchester University (Psychology), where he also completed his Masters qualification in Social Anthropology.
